Order ID and Theme Activation Troubleshooting

If you cope with the "The provided key is not valid for the current theme" error this article should help you solve this issue.

One of the most common reasons why this may happen is when you accidentally add the key with the # symbol in front of it. In this case, we recommend just removing the #. The key should be an 8/9 digit number in the following format XXXXX-XXXX for new themes, if you purchased your theme a few years ago it will be a longer number.

Another reason why this error occurs is that the theme folder's name was accidentally(or not) renamed. In this case, you need to follow these steps to safely change it back. First things first, you need to deactivate the Flex Block plugin and deactivate the current theme by activating another theme. For this purpose, you can use one of the WordPress themes. To activate another theme you should go to Appearance→Themes and there you can switch the theme.

Next, you should change the name for the Flotheme theme's folder. For this, we recommend using the File Manager plugin so you can access your website's files. Here is the plugin download link: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-file-manager/ You can also install it from the WordPress plugin panel:

Next thing, you need to go into the File Manager plugin panel and follow this path: Wp-content→Themes. There you will find the folders with the themes you have. Find the Flotheme theme's folder and change its name to the actual name of the theme: https://recordit.co/k7P0jytFbD That's it! Now you can go back to Appearance→Themes, reactivate the theme and retry using the order key.

In case the key you enter gives you this error, we recommend contacting the support team and they will provide you with the correct key.
